Introduction

The DSA-Sec, introduced in 2004, allows students to seek admission to a secondary school on the basis of a diverse range academic and non- academic talents and achievements that may not be demonstrated at the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE).

Schools offer talent development programmes in the following categories:
  •       Creativity, Entrepreneurship and Innovation
  •       Languages and Humanities
  •       Leadership and Uniformed Groups
  •       Performing Arts
  •       Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM)
  •       Sports and Games
  •       Visual Arts and Media
Note: Participation in the DSA-Sec is optional.

DSA @ Saints

From 2018, schools can admit up to 20% of Sec 1 intake under the DSA exercise. Therefore, in alignment to our Learning for Life Programme (Sports for Life) and Applied Learning Programme (Design Engineering), the school will offer DSA under: (a) Sports and Games (LLP); and (b) in areas under STEM (ALP).
