Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs)
Role of CCAs
CCAs are an integral part of our students’ holistic education. Through CCA, students discover their interests and talents while developing values and competencies that will prepare them for a rapidly changing world. CCA also promotes friendships among students from diverse backgrounds as they learn, play and grow together. Participation in CCA fosters social integration and deepens students’ sense of belonging, commitment and sense of responsibility to school, community and nation.
Every Saint must take part in one CCA from the following options:
- Clubs and Societies
- Physical Sports
- Uniformed Groups
- Visual and Performing Arts Group
At St Andrew's, our boys experience the following through their CCAs:
a. Breadth of experience
Wide range of programmes and activities to broaden students’ horizons, to cater to students’ interests and to promote self-directedness.
b. Character development and progression of skills
The activities and learning experiences are designed to deepen students’ development of knowledge and skills and purposefully planned to support development of character.
c. Passion and rigour
Our programmes provide a healthy balance of challenge and enjoyment, leveraging on our boys' talents and interests while pushing personal excellence.
d. Brotherhood and unity
Our CCAs foster stronger bonds of friendship and unity across the levels.
